Tortilla Chips

Perfect snack to go into your favourite dips (healthier options would be French onion dip, guacamole and hummus). Or turn them into nachos

Ingredients

  • Wholemeal tortilla wrap (1 large one feeds for one person)

  • Optional: Extra virgin olive oil spray

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 150 Degrees Celsius

  2. Cut tortilla wraps into triangles

  3. Lay baking paper on baking tray, then spray a layer of oil

  4. Place the triangles on the tray

  5. Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy

Variations

  • Use different dips

  • Add salsa, your meat of choice, and cheese to turn it into nachos

  • Sprinkle with your favourite herbs (e.g. paprika, chives, oregano, chilli) and enjoy them as a snack

Nutritional Value

Compared to commercial tortilla chips, you’ll be able to have a better control over what you add into your chips. Making your own chips means less salt added, less oil, and less preservatives.
